What do I need to post to join the text only plan

This depends on how you want us to pay you. There are two ways you can receive your donations when you’re a Basic plan member – by cheque or bank transfer (BACS). We’ll ask you which one you prefer when you complete the online sign-up process.

1. If you choose to be paid by cheque, we’ll post your cheque to your organisation’s address each month. You don’t need to send us anything in the post and we’ll approve your application as soon as we’ve run a few checks.

2. Alternatively, we can pay you by BACS. That way your donations are transferred safely and securely directly to your organisation’s bank account each month, if you choose BACS you'll need to post us ONE of these:

  • an original bank statement (less than three months old) OR
  • a stamped and signed headed letter from your bank confirming your charity's name and account details.

Please make sure that the statement or letter you send is less than three months old and relates to the bank account details you entered when you sign up.

Then post it along with the application reference form (which you'll be able to download at the end of the application process) to:

We'll let you know once we've received it, and will post it back to you as soon as we've run a few checks. Provided all the information we need is there, your application will be approved within one working day.

*Charities on the Basic plan waiting for their first payment, can expect to wait the number of days stated above. After this, if you're receiving regular text donations, we'll make a payment to you each month.
