How do I sign up to JustGiving?

You can find out whether your charity is eligible to join JustGiving here.

Then, just head to our sign-up page to get your application started.

What do I need to sign up?

Here is some information about what we ask charities to provide when they sign up with JustGiving:

  • Your charity registration number/Gift Aid number from HM Revenue and Customs
  • Trustee Details
    • Contact details for two of your charity’s trustees/controller and their dates of birth.
    • Government-issued photo ID (valid driver’s license or passport) for two of your charity’s trustees/ controllers.
  • Proof of your charity's bank account. (One of the following)
    • A scan of a recent bank statement dated within the last three months of the account where your funds will be disbursed. This needs to be in your registered charity name
    • Stamped and signed letter from the bank to verify your charity account name, number and sort code details
    • Voided cheque or paying in slip
  • A completed ChV1 form (You can access this form at the end of the application)
  • For Grow plan applications we'll also require your charity’s bank account details for the Direct Debit instruction which will cover the monthly subscription fee. 

How long does it take?

Once you've filled out the online form and submitted it to us we'll work really hard to make sure your organisation is up and running and ready to take donations.

It normally takes around 5-7 working days to be processed, however sometimes this may take longer due to several factors including current application volume, completeness of your application and additional information requests (if necessary).

We’ll also send you a welcome email once your account is approved with everything you need to get started straight away.
