Two-factor Authentication

As part of JustGiving’s ongoing commitment to online security, you may soon see two-factor authentication has been enabled on your JustGiving charity account.

What does this mean?

From now on, when you log into your charity account, you will be automatically sent a six-digit code to your email address from “JustGiving <email@contact.justgiving.com>". You will then be prompted to type this code on the login screen to gain access to your account.

You will only be asked for the code once in a seven-day period.

I don't have access to the email address to receive the email

If you log into JustGiving using someone else's email address, you'll need to add your own email address to the account so you can receive the authentication email. Any of your account admins can add you to the account by following these simple steps:

1. Log into your JustGiving account click on the 'Settings' tab

2. Click 'Create and manage users'

3. Add the user's details to the account

Top tip: You can have an unlimited number of contacts on your JustGiving account, so make sure everyone who needs access has their own account!
