Multi Factor Authentication

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is an authentication method that requires users to provide two or more verification methods to gain access to their account on JustGiving. The main benefit of MFA is it will enhance your charity’s security by requiring your users to identify themselves by more than a username and password.

As part of JustGiving’s ongoing commitment to online security, MFA is available to all charities and nonprofits registered on JustGiving.

How do I enable MFA?

The simplest way to start using MFA on JustGiving is to create a Blackbaud ID (BBID) and link it to your JustGiving account. This will enable you to authenticate via email, SMS or via a secure mobile app.
